Foundation for Human Civilization
The local community was the center of the world for its residents for most of human history. As such, it was critical that the community be self-sustaining. This is a concept that's been neglected in recent decades... We seek to revive it.
To be self-sustaining, a local community needs several things. Access to fresh water and vibrant agriculture is a must. As is core physical infrastructure. These are things like roads, bridges, and waste management systems.
In addition, communities need a robust economic network. This includes farmers, skilled tradesmen, legal and business professionals, educational professionals, as well as artisans and craftsmen. These are the people who make it all go.
Simply put, the Foundation for Human Civilization aims to support and enhance these items in local communities. We are a Virginia nonprofit corporation. And we are working on this core mission, one project at a time.
Our vision is to create a future that consists of strong, vibrant communities.
